Jim and Patti Schwartz, along with their son Patrick, raise good food on their Back Acres Farm in Georgetown, Ohio. Their animals graze in the pastures, so you can enjoy the taste of grass-fed beef, lamb, pork and chicken. You might notice that you have to tap the eggs more firmly to crack them than you do with store bought eggs. Stronger shells and deep yellow yolks tell you something is different about these eggs. And that is before you get to enjoy their great taste.

The Schwartzes also bring a variety of goodies from Patti's kitchen.
These include summer sausage that she makes from their own beef or pork. They co-op with a farmer in Northern Ohio who makes the cheeses that they sell at market.

During the winter months, the Schwartzes buy fresh organic fruits and vegetables to supply to restaurants, their Amish neighbors and their market customers. They usually bring green and yellow peppers, lettuce, squash, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, greens, apples and oranges plus a few different items each week. In the spring they will plant vegetable crops that will be available as they mature.
